People face acute food insecurity.
Children under five are expected to suffer severe acute malnutrition in 2026.
ARCD is responding to hunger in Sudan through two essential forms of food assistance:

ARCD-supported kitchens prepare and serve hot meals to displaced families and people with limited access to food.

Essential food staples help families meet their immediate needs during prolonged periods of displacement and uncertainty.
When Sudan's hunger crisis deepened, ARCD took action, but we need to do more.
Through its Central Kitchen in Sudan, ARCD served 90,000 hot meals over 30 days. ARCD has also distributed food baskets and provided seasonal food assistance to families facing hunger.
This campaign is not the beginning of ARCD's response. It is an opportunity to keep emergency food moving and reach more families before conditions worsen.
