The Crisis in the Classroom
In Sub-Saharan Africa, 98 million children are out of school. The issue is not ambition but access. Too few schools exist, and those that do are often overcrowded, under-resourced, or in poor condition. Costs for fees, uniforms, and supplies put education out of reach for many families.

The Gender and Disability Gap
Over 20% of elementary school children lack basic resources, with girls and children with disabilities most affected. When families cannot afford schooling, daughters are usually the first to stay home, while children with disabilities are excluded entirely. Without intervention, these children are denied a future before it begins.

Schools Building and Maintenance
We build and renovate schools to provide safe, lasting environments. Each school is furnished, integrated into the community, and supported with ongoing maintenance to ensure sustainability.
Masajids Building and Maintenance
In rural areas without formal schools, we construct Masajids that serve as hubs for literacy, Quranic education, and community gatherings, reflecting local values and needs.
Education Scholarships
Scholarships cover fees, uniforms, exams, and transport, enabling children to enroll, remain in school, and succeed. Each sponsorship supports a child’s long-term educational journey.
In-Kind Donations: School Supplies
Over 20% of elementary school children in Africa lack access to basic educational materials. ARCD distributes school bags, books, stationery, and other essential supplies directly to students and schools.
